White light source SuperKTM Compact

The new broadband super-continuum source SuperKTM convinces as compact, maintenance-free turn-key system with integrated controller and computer interface for external control. A continuous coverage of the wavelength spectra from visible to near IR, high power density and new optical design with improved beam parameters distinguish the SuperKTM Compact.

An optimised mechanical design facilitates the integration of the SuperKTM system in industrial applications. Furthermore, the new generation SuperKTM is equipped with a synchronisation output.

Applications: 
By providing a wide wavelength spectra and high optical density, SuperKCompact encorporates the technologically advanced alternative to gas discharge lamps (e.g. Xenon) thus offering entirely new approaches in test and measurement applications, e.g. characterisation of optical components, CWDM/DWDM-Filters (O-E-S-C-L and U-Band), thin film and AR coatings, PON-Filters as well as chromatic dispersion in fibers and planar waveguides. 

SuperK Compact is being used in Optical Coherence Tomography (OTC), Bio-Analysis, confocal microscopy, fluorescence-Spectroscopy, white-light interferometry and especially in scientific basic research requiring a coherent, broadband light source.
